On June 10, 2019, the Innovation Center of High-Performance Medical Device was founded at the 3rd Guanzhou International Bio Forum.

On October 24, 2019, the team of the Innovation Center moved to the Scientific and Technological Business Accelerator of Guangzhou Development District.

On December 16, 2019, the foundation for the headquarters of the Innovation Center was laid at the Bio Island. The construction is expected to be completed in June 2021.

Up to now
Up to now, the construction of the Innovation Center has been included into the key projects under the Opinions of the Municipal CPC Committee in Guangzhou and the People’s Government of Guangzhou on the Implementation of the “Outline of the Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Program” and the 2019 Priorities in Boosting the Construction of Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in Guangzhou and the annual priorities under the Three-year Action Plan for the Construction of Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in 2019, among other government work plans.
